Yeah, I gotta go with Cummins - have had too many larger Cummins that treated me well. I bought the Laramie with as many doo-dads as I could but the others top of the line looks/seems more comfy. Nevertheless, I think my engine will still seem like it just got broken in long after theirs have just broken.
For the record, 1 year of ownership this coming Friday - 29k miles.

owned an hd chevy ran good well built but i f s sucks 8inch @ 37 = broke half shafts ,i had a 01 superduty awsome built truck felt like i could drive it throw a wall and keep going but to hard to make fast poor mpg+ bought the truck for 32000 new xlt,went to buy the new 6.4l powerjoke same model and they wanted 58000k 26k diff ,so i got my 1ton 5k miles on it for 30500, plus i think the dodge looks the best easy to make fast best mpg solid axles oh yeah best of all cummins

i got mine cause it was a cummins.... but i was choosing between mine and a 7.3 ford at this one dealership, and the looks and mainly the stacks sealed the deal.... but now that i know a lot more about cummins than i did when i bought it, im really happy i got the cummins

I bleed Chevy but they dont have a Cummins so what was I supposed to do?Plus I got my truck w/30 miles on it for 29.5

Mopar all the way! Over the years I have ownd a lot of Dodges, mostly pickups oldest 1961 with slant 6 & 3 on the tree. Last 2 have had Cummins.

I can't yet answer why I chose a Cummins because I don't have one yet, but I can tell you this:

- better than 10mpg in my HEMI
- we're a Dodge family

It's a Dodge, the Dealer, the Engine, the service department, and the price was good too.

All of the above, Best damn truck out on the market!!!!!!!, Best motor out on the market, and only paid $38,675 for a truck that the MSRP is $54,967!!!!!!!!
Oh, uh and did I mention that it has a CUMMINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
