BD Commonrail nozzles???

Whats the story on these?

EDM'd or honed?

Are they being made in house or???

Anyone running them?

How long have they been out?

Are they readily available?

I know these guys have their own fuel shop and they told me at one point when talking to them on the phone about some BD injectors that I got a hold of that they get them from somewhere else but they bench test everything they get.

BD has a state of the art flow bench and they can set up and balance your injectors.

They just set up a set for my drag truck, made lots of power.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you guys... little holiday!

The Nozzles are made specifically in the Italy. They are a 8 hole hydro honed which is the same as extrude honed. They are made from a completely new blank nozzle. They are not a different nozzle that just has the holes enlarged, they are new, never used.

Hope that helps
Dave

Dave,
Does BD use quality Bosch nozzles or..........?

Also, are you guys still making these and selling them? Someone told me that BD stopped selling Common Rail nozzles!

I noticed a different part # and big price difference in the last month. Xtreme diesel had them for $660 for 04.5-07 90hp now they have a different part # and they are $870. I dont know if they are different or not.

The nozzles we used to use as Dave mentioned were out of Italy. We have now switched over to using OEM BOSCH blank nozzles and having them honed to either 60hp,90hp and soon 120hp. We found the quality of the bosch nozzle to be superior to any others out there, and that was the reason for the switch.

Is there any way to tell if we are buying the older BD nozzles or the new version of the BD nozzles?
