Latest Update on G2

As of this morning we received an update from the board builder. We did not get a definite date but they did indicate that we are making progress in the right direction. Due to the hurricane which caused days lost due to businesses shut down and back orders on processor availability they will not be here this week as we had anticipated two weeks ago when we called everyone. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of parts distributors at this stage. For those of you who do not realize the function of what you are waiting on this is a processor based module that actually simulates the function of the dpf. We are not clearing codes or erasing history in the truck ecm but actually communicating with the truck at all times to keep the truck satisfied with out the filter in place. This small computer that will mount to your frame is running a computer program, therefore making the complexity of the design and production an intricate process to manufacture. All G2 Modules will still be shipped out in the order that the customer order was placed but this process will be very quick after we receive the boards. Programming and packaging will take a little time but we will be working exclusively on these orders going out until all are on the way. This week and next week all exhaust parts will be shipped out, the balances of the cards will be run, and waiver receipt verified. All waivers must be submitted before electronics will be shipped.
I have had several calls from customers wanting to change to G1. I am allowing these changes to continue through August 15th. I will issue a price adjustment if applicable on these changes. We will resume offering a G2 upgrade on October 1st. So if you change your order now and decide to upgrade later it will be October and $375.00 plus the core charge to do this.
We appreciate your continued patience in this matter. We did not expect the multiple setbacks in production and have made every effort to make the recovery of time seamless.

Any questions can be submitted by email for quicker response as the phones are still very crazy. I will be monitoring my email regularly for order changes and questions. I will do my best to get replies back the same day time permitting. lori@badptrucks.net.

Thank you all for your continued support,

BADP Lady
