2nd Gen Quad Cab - window pillar sticker?

I have an Electric Blue '98 Quad Cab I'm considering having re-painted some time in the future.

I'm thinking of removing the black sticker that is between the windows of the front and rear side glass and just going with the blue body color.

Anyone have pics of a 2nd gen without the black sticker to get an idea of how it looks?

If I were to keep the black sticker - would it be best to remove for repainting and then put a new set on?

Thanks,
Steve

i had a blue 01 2500 that was a sport...and it was a little tall and the car wash tore the tops of my black stickers up so i removed them..i dont have a pic...but it looks great.

just so you know they do not come off to easy...i used a budy of mine (body tech) and a heat gun...just be careful you dont want to melt anything

and you would want to remove it to paint it anyway...Macco wouldnt ha!
