ok now im pissed

i go to haul some steel for my nieghbor, and he drops a piece on my bedrail, i was pissed, it was dark so i didnt see anything wrong, then i looked in the light and i have a small dent, no big deal to me but i the paint is peeling, so if i touch it it will peel off, is there anyway to fix it so the paint doesnt peel and leave a big spot of bare metal, the dent is small so i dont really care about it , but i want the paint not to peel
the body shop guy said he would have to pull off the sidepannel and straighten it then repaint it 600
theres gotta be a better easy way cheaper

sand it down to metal, use some self etching primer just to be safe, and hit it with some rattle can green and a shot of clear coat.

I'd get some primer & paint on it first, then do some rail covers mentioned above.

I think I'd at least show the guy what he did....see if he offers anything...if not.....tell him to find someone else to help him next time.

my glasses must have a smudge in em or something cause that doesnt look like a small dent to me. I second the notion of primeing it spray bomb it and throw on some bed rails. You should have hauled the steel to the scrap yard and tthen use that money to fix your truck!!!!LOL
