Silver to Blue

I am going to be painting my truck blue. The body shop(which is who will be painting it) told me I just needed to take off the clear coat and then do all the body work. So I was wondering which grit would be the best for taking off the clear coat, and which is best for sanding down the bondo? By the way I have a 5 or 6 inch palm vehical sander

Also I am wanting to paint it the color that is on the toyata tundras that dark electric blue, any one know where I could find it?

320grit to sand down clear......bondo depends on how much you have on there and how much you need to shape/remove

for the bondo, you will need to block it with a hand block/board.. start with 120 then i like to use 220..
then you will have to prime the area. reblock it with 220, then 320, then you can take you orbitil to it.
to remove the clear just to paint over, id go 500, then there wont be much sand scratches..

never use a orbit sander to smoth out the bondo, or un blocked primer, or you will have waves...
