There are a few trucks in my neck of the woods that have done this. I think it looks really good, and have been thinking about doing it myself. Do It! I think you'll like it! Colin

so was it painted afterwards or just a matched color? my friend wants to do it to his 2 tone charcoal and light grey, the light grey would be the quarter panel. they have a color like that?

rhino lining and line-x both have colored spray ons now, as far as paint-matching i think they are your generic colors.

I fail to see the point of doing this. Your truck does not rust from the outside in. It starts on the inside of the rockers and doors where sediment lays and stays wet. All you are doing by rhino lining the outside is making it a pain in the to repair. Yeah it may hide it longer but it will just be that much worse when it does show up.

It aint just rust protection, I drive a lot of gravel roads and my quarter panels are all ate up from the gravel, I'd like to do it to protect against more gravel damage and repair/cover up the existing.

That is true, however if you do this beforehand it may hold it off longer as there is no possible way that the rust is gonna get through the rubberized coating...nothing will except for a DA, a torch, or a saw of sorts
