Good stud gun?

I need to pull two somewhat large dents. Any opinion on a good stud gun. Looking for the best bang for the buck gun that will be a good DIY tool.

Thanks

piece of tig wire spot welded on the pannel and use a slide hammer to pull out. try to get a 1/8" or 5/32" dia wire

I have a Chicago electric one from harbor freight and to be honest i wasn't really impressed. You would be better off with a Mig welder. Use just enough amperage to tack the wire to the body and use a slide hammer. Plus the mig welder has many more uses later on. With that being said you can tack brazing rod too, just watch your heat with the torch so you don't warp the metal.

dent fix makes the best stud pullers imo. I have sold dozens and never had any problems, used mine quite a bit also. They make 3 or 4 different guns and kits depending on how far you want to go. The basic starter kit with a puller and nails and gun run around 200 bucks.

iv used one that you just drill a hole, run a screw thought it and clamp on to the screw. then just weld the hole closed when finished. worked pretty good, but then again its a bit more work welding the holes.

Thanks for the replies. I will be looking for a Matco or better brand. I already have a MillerMatic 175, but want to get this looking perfect. I hate welding holes shut -- it seems you always get a slight wave or dimple. Granted I prob just suck at it.

Get a 1/4" rod or so and tack it along the valley line. Have the rod tall enough so you can clamp vise grips on it lighly hammer up with enough force to pop the dent. Dont have to drill any holes that way.

H&S Autoshot
I have one and love it
We used them at school and just based upon how much use they received and how well they stood up I would buy one.
Here's the ones they offer:
