Chrome Cab Visor

I have a Lund cab visor that I recently purchased. It's not painted yet. I've always just had them painted to match but I'm thinking of getting this one chrome dipped. Is that possible? Anybody done it?

Same here. I tried to find a stainless one when I bought my '04, but they don't exist.

I don't know how well chrome dipping would work...but, Dupont makes a paint called "Mirror". It is an involved process but it would pull of the chromed or stainless look. I've got a buddy who painted a snowmobile with the stuff...he also owns an autobody paint shop.
You might want to check with a higher end auto body paint shop...just a thought.

Cab visors are ugly. Please, for the love of God, don't put one on your truck. It'll totally ruin the truck.

I wasn't bashing his idea, I was just posting my opinion about them. If he still wants to put one on his truck, thats fine. Its his truck and money. I just don't like cab visors. Never have, never will.
