Line-X is the way to go. $750 for a long bed with top of the bed rails sprayed to. I also got the Line-X X-tra coating that has dupont something in it and it doesn't fade. I have had it for a year and a half and it is still shiney like new. It hasn't faded at all. I would absolutely pay it again and I would get the extra sprayed on coating again too.

LINE-X for sure! I used to work at a Line-X in south Texas and have seen first hand how much better Line-X is than Rhino. I paid 400 for a long-bed, over the rail, with the top coat. I would spray my whole truck if I could afford it!

I just had my truck sprayed with Line-X, which is a long bed and I had it done over the rails. It was $565 with tax.

I have now owned both Rhino Linings and LineX. LineX is much stronger, but Rhino is more soft and grips cargo better.

I just had so many chips and chunks taken out of the Rhino linings it looked horrible.

Plus, LineX has a more constant texture, whereas Rhino's finish looks "Sloppy" and uneven.

I am very pleased I went with LineX on my Ram...........

I have the Rhino liner, and havent had any problems with it, but have had Line-X in other trucks. I would say go with the Line-X, because it will be better for you in the long run. If I had it to do again, I would get the Line-X. You will probably pay more, but it will be worth it. I paid $380 for the Rhino liner, but the Line-X was $450 for my short bed.

Maybe it was $650. I was one of the first ones to get that new x-tra coating that they were offering so that was like $100 or $150 more than the normal stuff. I did it and don't regret it. Maybe the price has come down since that new stuff came out but oh well. I got it done and I like it.

Thanks for making me feel bad fellas

i've got a few dents in the back of my bed from throwing cut logs into the back, it appears from your pics that they even cover that up and make it look fairly new again. I'm convinced that line-x puts out a nice product...haven't seen too many Rhino liners around here. I helped a buddy do one of those DIY kits from the auto store, don't waste your money and time. OMG that was a pain in the and the amount of cleanup and overspray involved in it is enough to convince you that it's worth it to leave it up to the people who do it all the time. They'll have it done better and faster then what I could do...and i'm fairly patient when it comes to projects like that.

I had line-x in my last truck and I swore that I would never do line-x again. It had to go back 3 times to be fixed. First was the liner was peeling up from the back bottom of the bed, I peeled up about a foot. It came up in solid piece, and by looking at the metal underneath the line-x it was obvious that there was ZERO prep. Anyways they said that they glued it back down and next time they wont do anything if I destroy the liner by pulling it up again. I only used my fingers.
Next time was for the tailgate peeling same story as above.
Last time was for the tailgate as well, but this time they needed to strip the tailgate and redo the process.

However, when I bought my new truck they threw inthe line-x for free so I said what the hell. This time it was done right with no problems.

Stay away from Line-X of Bellevue, Wa. I have a letter from them saying them screwed up on the application as well. Just in case it had to go to court. But I sold my truck.

Yea that sounds like they didn't sand or spray out the bed before applying. I was under the impression that it had to be sanded somewhat and then power washed and dried really well before attempting to apply the stuff. Otherwise, not much sticks to smooth, waxed paint. That's my guess...

Glad it worked out afterwards! Do you know if Line-x can be colored to match the color of the box?
