Anyone know what it would cost to get my truck painted?

Damn -- you need an 06 painted?

I looked into getting my whole truck (96 ext cab) repainted and the shop that does our other work quoted me 3200, give or take a few hundred.

That was also to remove a few dents, paint every nook and crevice like door jams, inner fenders, everything.

$3200 is a lot less than I was expecting to hear. Is this a reputable shop that does good quality paint work? I don't NEED to get it repainted but someday I would like to change the color

If you are painting it just to change the color it would probably be cheaper to take your mods off, sell the truck and buy the color you like. I dont know your truck or labor rates in your area but Id say $4500 probably closer to $5500 for a nice quality color change. If you are in an area with higher labor rates you could easily see $7000.

Well one I probably wouldn't get what I owe on it if I did sell it so it would be more expensive to do that and two it is damn near impossible to find a 6 speed around these parts. But anyway I was thinking that since I am probably going to be doing fiberglass fenders and bedsides and then a new hood I could just do the color change then since that just leaves the cab to be redone and the rest will just need paint and clear coat since it is prepped and primered

Earl Schieb -- 300 dollar manager special. They actually painted some parts for my big dodge and did a good job. I did the prep work tho -- still looks good after several tree branches, dirt, rock, and sun "caressed it some".
