Decal Help

I have seen around that many 2nd generation dodges have takin off the 24valve decal on the doors and replaced them with either the newer style crome ones on the 3rd gen or a custome one for example Ram 2500 Big Rig Edition which I like alot. Do you need to repaint when pulling off these or do they come off easy. Has anyone done this a could you give me pictures and instructions. Where do you buy the custom ones Please let me know. I love my 2nd gen but not a fan of the door Cummins logo. Thanks for helping out. Websites would be helpful to know where to buy.

You mean like this?

It depends on the condition of the paint, and how the old badges are taken off.

I use a heat gun or blow dryer, then use fishing line to take the badge off. You will then be left with glue to remove.

As for my "Big Rig Edition" badges ... I made those out of 2 "Big Horn Edition" badges

The exact same procedure I mentioned about taking badges off. Molding is no different than a badge

cummins emblems, Parts Accessories, eBay Motors items on eBay.com

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...=32%26fsoo%3D2

Take a look through these. As for removal, a heat gun on low, or a hair dryer and then fishing line or a rubber (better for the paint) or plastic putty knife to peel them off.
