Thumbs up Lond bed Megacab

I just picked my 2008 Megacab up from Precision autobody in Salt Lake UT after having my truck streached, and am very very happy with the work they did for me.

Ya, they did one for me too, 30k miles on since, and I couldn't be happier. Great guys to work with and they know what they are doing. Go Precision Bodyline!

Thats the only place Id take one to get the conversion. Ive been into Precision numerous times and checked out the work they do. I think theyre the only ones that cut directly over the rear axle as opposed to under the cab. Under the cab, all the weight your hauling or pulling is acting on the frame where the other guys cut, so I could easily see a failure there. Ya know, laws of leverage and chit...whereas Precisions cut is between the leafspring mounts, where its supported. And they use a double sleeve splice. Ive seen pics of other companies work where they use just an inner sleeve and call it good. When I get a Mega, its going to Precision when the time comes...

Oh, and heres pics of the shortbed with regular style flares:

Freakin BAD!!!

I have a 2008 3500 Laramie Long Bed MegaCab for sale. Had the conversion done in Salt Lake by Precision. They did a great job. Also has 19.5 inch wheel adapters and 6 19.5 aluminum wheels with 6 new XDS2 on it. Also installed a huge sway bar air bags, B&W bolt on goose neck hitch 2" leveling kit and Bull Hide spray in liner. This truck is in new condition, always garaged. If anyone is interested my e-mail is mwv1@msn.com I would be happy to send pics. Am asking $55000. have much more invested

Fits fine, its only 22 inchs longer then a regular MegaCab. It even fits in my garage, with about 3 inchs to spare.
