Not starting off on the right foot...

picked up my 4th Ram yesterday ( 2nd Cummins )... new 3/4 ton Cummins Auto, 4 X 4 Quad Cab... loved the truck, till I got into it & noticed the driver side wiper was 1/2 way up the windshield ( this was during the obligatory dealer ride with, before I took the truck home )... salesman told me it a supposed to be that way :THREAT: no clue... I told him... "hey buddy that wiper blade is illegally in my line of sight, it's not supposed to be that way"

... well after sitting at this dealership already for over 2 hours waiting for them to prep the truck, which the deal was done last week ( you'd think it could have been prepped before I got there ??? & to finish the paperwork, I was not impressed, when they had to schedule my truck into the shop... another 1/2 hour later, & the truck finally goes into the shop...

I was thinking the wiper ( typically a splined socket, could be lifted & repositioned onto the typically splined shaft )... but after being in the shop for a 1/2 hour, sounds like there is now a slot that positions the wiper, so they can't just move the wiper... the scarey thing is the mechanic came out telling me they need to change out a "module"... again it's my understanding that both the wipers are still mechanically connected... I'm not understanding how changing out a "module" is going to fix anything... to me it sounds more like something was mounted upside down, or the left piece was put on the right side etc...

sad thing is, this truck was built in St. Louis & is "American made"... the consumer should not be the 1st person to catch that major of a defect... has me worried that this could be a Monday / Friday built truck ???

... anyone familiar with the wiper system, or had similar issues with wiper placement ???
