touchup paint

I have been searching for touch up paint for my truck its driftwood satin
dodge code: PFA
duplicolor: DSCC402

I have a few decent size areas that need touched up box corners, fender wells, rockers, and hood have many rock chips taken out of it over the years. only problem is NO DSCC402 available in any autoparts store or even walmart for that matter in my area. I did find on the oriely website that it is available 3 states away but alas no online ordering/shipping.

anyone got any ideas short of shelling out a few grand to just paint the truck a different color. I was thinking I could two tone the truck at some point although I haven't a clue what would look good with driftwood satin.

gonna do a truck liner here within the next month or so. so that resolves any issues with the bed rails for the most part

i would go to a halfway decent body shop and have them mix up a 1/4 quart of paint for you. then you will have plenty for later use

and here i was hoping to stick with a spray can since I do not have any of the required equipment to airbrush, not even a compressor.

worst case i guess is driving around with a close enough primer color for a while.

go to any paint store that sells automotive paint and take them your gas door. They can do a color match by the paint code, then tune it in by eye the rest of they way. They can also put it in a paint can for you... I think it cost around $25/can for a custom mix

Call your local dealer. They sell touch up paint in spray cans for any paint code I think. Not price too bad....around $8 last time I checked.

They only need to have a parts department. They get the touch up straight from the factory in spray cans.

Try paintscratch.com. I have ordered spray cans from them before and their factory paint matching is spot on. You can get anything from little touch up bottles to gallon jugs of paint. Their prices are pretty reasonable.
