painted stars... repaint???

okay so here is a pic of my new rockstars with the star painted red... turned out awesome my best work but now i have the desire to paint them again to another color for fun, will it still be the same process or how would you recommend doing it

my process was i took off the stars
sanded lightly with scothbrite pad (not removing chrome)
adhesion promotor
3-4 coats of color
2 coats of clear coat

so do i do the same to get the paint off or sand it off COMPLETELY or paint remover... any help

Looks good, I'm planning on putting lug spikes in the 8 holes around the outside of the center cap

I ordered them from 75 Chrome Shop:

3/4 X 2 5/16' CHROME PLASTIC SPIKE NUT COVER [021133051] : 75 Chrome Shop, Chrome Semi Truck accessories, parts, and service

Here's what the center caps should look like, minus the tape holding them on

Would thost fit over the factory lugs?

If so now have to fine the inner hub cap to match.

You can order them in different sizes so there should be one to fit the factory lugs.

I think it looks cool. Any pictures with then on the truck? Only other thing I would suggest is to paint them mineral gray to match your truck's paint

Dude, those look sick!! Send them to me and I'll send you mine to repaint for yourself!!
I plan on using a little red throughout my truck and those would look sweet!!

I've been throwing that idea around for a while, but wasn't sure how exactly they would fit/look. For now, I put 4 studded spikes around the center cap. They look alright, but they are a little small.

And I can't see your pictures because I'm at work!
