06+ grill on 30-05 bumper

Like the title says, anyone with pics of an 06+ grill on a 03-05 bumper? how about a sport bumper?

I'm not quite sure it will work with the dips under the headlights, you will probably need to add the 06+ top peice on your bumper!

I am pretty sure it will work, ive seen a 03-05 truck with an 06+ bumper before.

If it does work, which I don't think it does, I don't think it would look right.

it fits. you need different mounting hardware, and it doesnt look half bad actually....i mean in the corners its kinda off, but ive seen it done and looks good

Also seen one. Looks a little different with the triangle shaped openings between the grill and the bumper cover. Doesn't look bad.

you should just do the complete 06 front end replacement..then the grille would be a perfect fit. lol just my .02

I know someone(who is also a member on here) who has an '03 3500 SRW with an '08 Laramie grille and front bumper on it. The truck looks really good and is unique because you don't see that mod too often.

How did he do it with the stock headlights? Did he drop the bumper down a little to clear the bottom of the headlights?

Bumper was dropped down a little bit. When he first told me about his plan to do this mod, I was worried a little bit about that gap in between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the headlights. But after seeing the truck post-mod, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The truck turned out great.

Well i was wanting to put the sterling grill from the 4500 on mine, I know it will fit a 06
