I'm not sure what i'm going to do about the void. Maybe i'll put some lights there to hide it a little

One of the Sport grills are longer. I think it is the 99-02 version. It should fill the gap some more and will look better once you paint it to match...

Very good job, by the way.. Several of us talked about doing this last year but never got around to it.. I since sold my 01. Cudos to you!!

I will keep my eye out for a sport grill but I think most of them will be painted.

Yea so the hood was my attempt of painting it. It was fading so I tried to wet sand it and then spray paint it. Like I said earlier, I have no experience with body work. The whole truck need repainted to I dont want to pay someone a couple hundred just for the hood. It does drive me crazy though. Maybe if I lift it high enough no one can see it

i dont know how true it is cause i have never tryed it but someone i know said that the 2nd gen top plastic piece will fit on a 3rd gen bumper. as in the bumper it self is the same. and all you have to do is swap out the top psice. like i said never tryed it but it might fill the gap if you get that and raise the bumper up some

I think that would only work from a early 3rd gen to a late 3rd gen.
