Sprayed my rockers today

Finaly got my rockers sprayed today. Used Duplicolor Bedliner. We will see if it holds up at all. Ill see if i can get some shots outside this weekend. Let me know what ya think.

did you do that your self and if so how much did you scratch up the paint to make it hold i am having issues with my roll on bed liner sticking

did you take the bed off? if not how did you get behind the cab so well? i've been wanting to do this!

I sanded everything with 60 grit then wipped it down with acitone. I didnt pull the bed but did take off the rear bumper. The spray can will let you get behind the cab. Far enough you cant tell unless you stick your head right down there. If it dont last im only out $40 i just wanted to try the do-it-yourself route before i shelled out the cash to line-X it.

The one thing i like about duplicolor is that is has a smoother finish compaired to others

Looks good....but yeah I hope it holds up for ya.

Ps. I know what ya mean about the price for line-x....I went around the bismarck mandan area and its about 500-600 bux to have the rockers spraied like that on my '97 club cab LB. I about fell over when they told me that it was cheaper to do a LB over the rails then to do a set of rockers

looks good nice work im thinking of doing that but sence you told me the price of line-x i might just hold off on that.

CTD03 - Did you use Herculiner? If so, that's your problem, i've done three beds for people on the cheap, the entire outside of my old Suburban and unfortunately the previous owner of my truck rolled the junk on already. In all those cases it looks fantastic for about 2 days, then fades, then chips, then peels...

Kenny, i'd love to see some pics of this in a couple of months, can you keep us updated please?

Yeah thats bout the same price i got. Decided to just go down to wally world and pick up 5 cans of diplicolor for $8 each and if it dont work out then ill go pay the $800 but i better be guaranteed for that price.
