Good Diesel Shop?

Is there a good diesel shop in NWAR, NEOK or SWMO? In springdale theres Diesel injector service. But i have not had the best of luck with them.

Macon Motorsports in Springdale has a decent rep from what I know. I know they do a good bit of diesel work.

There is also Floor It Diesel in Lawrence, Kansas...not too bad of a drive.

Well about a month ago I tried to add a 3k gsk myself. It didn’t go well to say the least. I messed up and tightened the screws too much so the idle was off then when I tried to re adjust them one came out and ended up bending the stud on the governor assembly and then tearing up a bunch of stuff. Anyway I now have a new pump from Pensacola diesel and im still wanting to put in the 3k. But I don’t trust myself. And I don’t know if id I trust diesel injector service in Springdale because it took little over 3 weeks to do and it only took one week to get the pump. And there’s a fuel leak now witch im aking it back to get fixed as well as my shutoff solenoid not working now and a chip/cack in the glass right behind the pump witch was not there when I took it in. So im trying to find out if there are any other options before I choose dis again or drive somewhere far off. Oh dis also said it would cost between 130.00 and 180.00 dollars to put them in. is that about right on the price?

Chris

What all do you guys know about floor it?

I'd give Shad a call over at Macon...I think he could probably help you out...but I'm not sure.

I'm almost positive that Floor It can do this for you. John Issacs and his crew have a really good rep. A friend of mine had a bunch of work done there and is completely satisfied.

I have no idea. All I know is that he does some diesel stuff...I don't think it's his primary business though. Just thought it might be worth a phone call to see if he could help out.

Dont know about Macon but the shop mack is talking about does know there stuff. I went there when my timing case cracked from a kdp falling out. he knew what to do and even found me a used timing case to save me money.
