Thumbs up June 9th Dyno and Drag Race

The 1st annual Ozark Blackout will be held at Ozark International Raceway on June 9th with a Dyno provided by Floor It Diesel. $55.00 for 3 pulls. The race classes are probably going to be a Pro Street style heads up class and 2 bracket classes. 1 for autos and 1 for manuals. I'll post more info later on the classes and payouts. Anyone interested in sponsoring a class can contact the track owner at 417-299-2153. His name is Wes.

Ozark International Raceway for directions to the track. I live about 15 minutes from the track and anyone wanting to camp is welcome to drop anchor at my farm. Otherwise there are hotels in Ozark and Springfield for those that have to drive aways.

I'll probably go Hwy 5 north up to Mansfield and then take 160 over. It doesn't matter to me though; both ways take exactly the same amount of time from my house.

I know one guy in Harrison that I'm sure will be there, I don't think he is on this site but I talk to him on MySpace and I know he is on DTR. He's the only person I know. There aren't any people around Mtn Home with diesels that are into this kind of stuff. There are a couple of Powerstroke guys but no CTD owners. Of course, that could change by June.

I've tried to get on John's dyno the past two times I was in Lawrence at his shop. He hasn't let me yet. I think he's afraid my truck would let the smoke out of his dyno.
