May 24th Diesel Races Speedworld AZ

Talked to Speedworld and they already have an event going on, on the 23rd so we are switching it to the 24th. Saturday night, they know we are coming and we will have our own Diesel Lane and section like we had at Diesels in the Desert Race. All Brand trucks are welcome not just Dodges. I know the AZ powerstroke group is coming out there as i have talked with Shawn and he said he will bring about 20 trucks just from his group. Lets make it happen and get a big turn out!

Me and Shawn talked and we know its going to be memorial weekend and alot of people will be gone on vacation, but whoever can make it please do come so that we have a descent turnout since Speedworld is expecting us to show up.

As me and shawn talked today we plan to meet up about 6pm saturday the 24th at I-10 and Avondale Blvd in front of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. There is a Big empty road on the side of hotel where we can all meet up. Whoever wants to come to caravan with us up to the race be there we will be leaving at 6:30pm Sharp if your not there by then we will be leaving. Guys (And Gals),

First let me say that I'm not trying to dictate anything here, my comments are strictly my thoughts typed out on this forum for all to see.

It would seem that there "may" be an emerging trend to try to "Blend and Bend" .

That is to say, when some form of "Organized Dodge Diesel" (Exclusively Dodge or not) event is booked, posted or whatever on this board, there are a few of us that want to try to blend their "other motorsport hobby" into this one.

I am not sure why this occurs, and frankly, I don't care why.

I will say that it is becoming mildly annoying to me, and before you launch your Thermonuclear Flamewar Counter attack, Here me out.

First, REALIZE I don't have a vested interest in the organization of this event, so bring whatever they let you.
Just let my comments roll off you like water on a Duck's back.

Second, I'm here to meet fellow Diesel Enthusiasts. I ASSUME there are others here less vocal who may feel the same.
I don't speak for them, though.

Third, If I want to meet someone with a Hopped up fast Car, Bike, Jeep, Rhino, Go Kart, Mini Bike, or Blender, I know where to go, and it isn't here.

Last, as far as I'm concerned, bring what you want, hopefully at LEAST towed there by a Dodge/Cummins Diesel, but don't expect me or others (Again, I speak for no one but myself) to be as impressed with your Hopped up fast Car, Bike, Jeep, Rhino, Go Kart, Mini Bike, or Blender, as we are with your BONE STOCK, (Possibly neglected) Dodge/Cummins Diesel. I might not even ASK you about your "Other" interest, but may irritate you with NUMEROUS questions about the Cummins you have.

BTW, This particular event is a "Diesel Grudge Night"...

Boy, I SURE HOPE I am gonna be embarassed and eat all these words because of all the Diesel powered Cars, Bikes, Jeeps, Rhinos, Go Karts, Mini Bikes, or Blenders that show up.
