I have been running the walbro on my truck with zero problems for a year now. I don't see any gauges listed so that should be first, then I would suggest a Smarty.

Yup i would agree with gauges and then a smarty. 05's is a great year for these trucks I love mine. You won't need a FASS for a while. I only recently did mine. We have in-tank lift pumps and they work really well until you get to the more hardcore stuff. Good luck.

PS: If by chance your interested in a Diablosport Predator I have one for sale. I ran it on my truck for two years and it works great and I would definitely recommend it. The only reason I took it off my truck was because my computer wasn't compatible to upgrade it to the 200 HP tune (darn computer is too old).

since you have an auto, I would recommend getting a trans temp gauge if you do any type of towing. I also recommend getting the replacement hot line from dieselmanor.com and installing the prob there.

Juice w/ attitude are a nice, adjustable and safe mod. Along with the bully dog and the outlook or PMT. Like mentioned above, the predator is nice, especially when stacked with their puck. But I love my Smarty, and wouldnt buy anything else.

It just depends what you are after. If you have the need for on-the-fly adjustability with digital gauges, the Edge or Bully Dog is probably the way to go, or wait for the Quadzilla Adrenaline to come out for 3rd gens. But if its not a big deal to you, I suggest the smarty with analog gauges or digital (like the quadzilla commander).

No matter which way you go, Im sure you will be happy.
