5w30 vs 15w 40
call me stupid but i purchased some amsoil 5w 30 for my truck and then realized the owners manual says 15w40 amsoil.com showed the 5w30 as an application for my truck but i do not want to have any problems. so should i use the 5w30 or get the 15w40

with the preformance you have on your truck i would say only 15w 40 or it would be way to thin... i wont run anything but 15w 40 in mine... just my 0.02 stock to what i have now is only 15w 40

yea but this 30 w is it still ok it kind of scares me but amsoil had it listed for my truck

If I were to use the 5-30 it would be in realllly col weather Amsoil is good but I would stick with 15-40
