I've got a pretty good access to WMO. Won't the fuel filter pick up most of the metal particles?

yeap i would have to say it would cause alot of damage and plug up alot of stuff and if it got to the injectors that could be a nightmare... i run 2cycle non degergant based oil at 1oz per 1 gal... it quites my engine down and i think it runs better.. more lubricant unless i fill up with lsd then i dont add it... just my 0.02

Filter with a centrifuge and the metal (ferrous and non-ferrous) will be gone.

The problem with running used motor oil is that the particles are TINY! There is no effective way to filter out particles that small-what are your factort fuel filters-20 microns? figure youve got a lot of >1 micron particles in there held in suspension-as soon as the injectors start to attempt to spray it-there they goooooooooooooooooooooo (and go they will) Feel free to try it on OLDER CHEAPER motors (an old MB would be a good candidate for oil and atf)

If not you get to spend ALOT of your hard earned cash!!! I say no, don't run it. Old 12 valve trucks, maybe, but definitly not on a 24v or newer.
