alright, moving across the country and really not happy with power or mileage so i think i'm going to pull the trigger on this set up. Is there any preferred (read: cheapest and most effective) tubing to run from the regulator up to the block?? Keep up the good thread.

Propane has no corrosive properties when in contact with steel or rubber hose.. Aluminum is another story however.

I paid $0.21/FT for ¼” synflex airline (Used as airlines on OTR trucks/trailers)

I went with synflex over rubber fuel line because synflex has much higher tolerances to temperature changes and performs well cold (when filled with propane perhaps).

You've not been paying attention to this thread. We're not doing it for power. We're doing it for mileage.

27mpg on diesel and propane here.

PS, nitrous doesn't have the same effect on a diesel. It's used more or less to lower EGT's.

The propane is being injected into the turbo.

i understand that before the turbo but where? is it okay to put it within a 1 or 2 inch in front because i cant get enough vacuum inside the air filter to get it to release. I have a negative pressure regulator.

Ahhh ok. I'd say that'd be fine. But you likely going to need a venturi nozzle for your setup. This will allow a vacuum for your regulator.

Guys. Its yall lines that is the reason your using so much propane. I tried air hose and fuel hose both and vaporized propane will leak right through the line. Im working on getting purpose built Propane line with fittings made now. Will let yall know how that goes.

I'm not using air hose. Never have. Nor fuel line. I'm certain my useage was from the liter or so that went out into the air from all the dozens of times I took it apart replacing. And the high pressure I ran before. Haven't been running it since I'm trying to drain my diesel tank for a draw straw install.
