Patracy.... Just wonderin if your runnin like the the rest of us and how that VP i shold in up if you are? I am too lazy to run back thru 40 pages of banter to see if you are..I hope you say you are and have no probs.....The more i think about it, with good filtration and a good pump (FASS or something of the likes) i dont see why you couldnt run in it a VP truck... I may have to try this....How are the injectors different from a 2nd Gen 12V to a 24V? Thanks for any info..... Still rollin down the road here...... ZC |

I haven't ran any since the new injectors. But with all the testing I've done with WVO, Jet-A, and WMO. Viscosity is the key concern with the VP44. Your ratio best be higher on Diesel than "filler". Otherwise you'll see timing issues. (I've never ran a high concentration of WMO, but I have tried 100% WVO.)

I merely agreed with you and noted your stance? So you do like it now or not? You incessantly state how wrong this is every chance you get. So I agreed with your stance and noted it. And you get upset? Shouldn't you be happy that your words have been noted instead of ignored?Hang out with Women? Wasn't this thread about WMO as a fuel source? Not sexual preference or the biology lesson/reference you stated?

Give it up!!!

Give it up Challenger, I stopped posting on this thread because of your constant put downs of those running WMO. I originally posted here to help others run 100% WMO. but after reading your dribble time after time, I got a bit tired of it. Maybe it is YOU that should leave this thread. Leave it for the guys that have hair on their plums and are willing to think outside the box and try new things. And for the record... I have run well over 100k miles on 100% WMO with NO PROBLEMS. Still on the original injectors and IP. So even if I did blow the motor, I would have saved 100 times the cost of a new motor. |

Welcome back edelbrock1,we miss your clear insightfull and intelligent opinion very much, the value of your wmo experiences cannot be overstated,if i had my way i would appoint you as Chief Super King Moderator over the entire forum.I agree you are way outside of the box,and as for your little plums they sound quite tiny, I prefer my large steel ones, thanks

Edelbrock1 lets just assume you really are running 100% wmo and you have really rung up that huge mileage in such a short time, and we decide to call that wmo usage good maintenance practise instead of bad maintanance... so you like any of us dodge cummins owners is towing an electric brake trailer with a dodge cummins truck on the trailer(about 10k lbs no big deal) over the great divide mountain pass in September, your brakes are ok before the climb, and it is warm dry t-shirt weather...but at the top you find freezing icy conditions, your on the way down the mountain on the very steep part that lasts 6 miles, well at 1mile your brakes are getting a little warm,at 2miles your engine quits(it could be your fuel gelled or the filter plugged who knows)... in a blink you have gone from 20mph to 50,your trucks steering and brakes are dead and the trailers brakes are grease, now your doing 75 and by the time you get to the first hairpin you would be at 100mph,so hypothetically theres two choices, off the cliff or head on into oncoming traffic, try your very best here, give us your take on wether this is very much more likely to happen on wmo or diesel, and wether this is the best practise and advice you could give to a young person who just bought a diesel truck, this is a good question for you your the expert on wmo, don't get into personalities, let us know if you care about your safety or anyone elses, thanks

Ok so back to your scenario, both my dad and I are driving your scenario in our respect trucks, his engine lets go and mine does not. He is in the predicament, not me. Yet he is running normal fuel... Hmmmm The point I am making is trucks breakdown, no matter what fuel they are running. I have found no reason why a truck would be more unreliable on WMO as it would be on normal fuel. I would say it is even more reliable due to the lubricity of the fuel. But if I did plug a filter on the way down your big nasty hill. I would flick it over to diesel. Remember.... I run a 2 tank system. Even then it was only in the very early experimental days that I would plug a filter. I change them every oil change and do not have any problems. But it is not for everyone, it is obviously not for you. We have probably heard enough that you don't like it. We understand that. We know you dont like it. So there is no reason to tell us anymore. You could always leave this thread fas a discussion for those that are running WMO and those that want to try it and are here to learn more about it. |

we could as a forum promote the thinking that 100% wmo is the way to go, it's ok, because it's saving money, and thats all that matters,it wouldn't be that hard to convince everyone driving a diesel on this continent to run 100%wmo,all the semis, firetrucks, ambulances, buses, work vehicles, private public you name it just do it.So why not?......How about a thread here about drinking and driving,it involves trucks and we could probably find a few people who think drinking and driving is good and want to teach it,......How about drugging and driving, perhaps we could teach that,.....or shooting firearms and driving......we can have a thread teaching how to remove the brakes and driving,i'm sure someone could see savings there....who really needs a cab, airbags,or seatbelts, most of us could really get along fine with just a milk crate seat,....semis with bald tires,no lights, and unsecured loads, saves time and time is money,.....how about a thread recommending ignoring traffic lights and stop signs, less idling,.....we could have another thread teaching the finer points of stealing vehicles, someone might like that form of making money,
