Thanks. Not bad for stock sticks, turbo, clutch, and lift pump.

It's not going to be a large volume. He's got a diesel as well. I'll only see about 15 gallons a week or so. I plan on getting a tank and stockpiling though!

Hey that works. Better than a poke in the eye with a stick.

Sounds like a plan. Hey 15 gallons depending on the day and state is anywhere from 60-75 bucks worth of diesel.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Free fuel is nice. I can run through a lot of Jet-A + bio "additive" + 2 stroke oil to make up for any fuel system failures that might occur.

Not that anything I've done thus far has "wrecked my fuel system". The VP44 of mine is still running fine. It was just setting off those codes due to the heat from the WVO setup. Taking thin jet-a and thickening it up is a lot easier on things than the other way around.

I know a few people running Jet-A. They get it free for the same reason. Must be nice!

I have a bypass filtration system on my pulling truck, and change the oil every 10 hooks. I just started dumping it into my vp44 truck. I have a Fass and the stock filter still. I figure between the fass and the stock filter I should be ok. Heck it is only 2.5 gallons put in a 34 gallon tank, and I burn 15 gallon to 34 gallon every hook, so minimum I am running 150 gallon through the truck to every 2.5 gallon I put in. One reason I change the oil at 10 hooks is because of the large amount of fuel that gets into the engine oil.
