Diesel Hydrogen conversion

I wanted to increase the mileage on my Truck. So i got the hydrogen conversion plans and will be building a few sets. I want to know if anyone has done this and if they had any problems. I have a 98.5, auto trans.

This is the link so you can read up on it. I got the plans for it now....i will be installing it on my 93 vogager van and 2003 bombadier quad. I hopefully will get my head wrapped around it to do a BBQ conversion....too many ideas to list. But my big hang up is that a don't want to damage my truck...wife's van i don't care but the truck I do...LOL (Run Your Car on Water)

THAT IS A SCAM!!! The HHO they are referring to sounds like the same chemical as water. The first thing that made me suspicious is the outrageous claim of 40% efficiency increase. 20% in certain diesels and perhaps 10% in gas engines would be believable with a H2 generator.

DON'T GIVE MONEY OR HITS TO THESE SNAKE OIL SALESMEN!!! A REAL hydrogen generator really should make a difference.

H+H+O = H2O Hydrogen only has one bond, and oxygen has two. So there's only one way to put them together.

A real hydrogen generator takes two water molecules and changes it into two Hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule. The much more reactive H2 is an ideal catalyst to make the combustion more efficient. 2 H20 = 2 H2+1 O2

I spend 800.00 per month on fuel, and if i get a better rate of 10 or 20% do you think i have a savings.

The max you get from performance products is 10%...and they costs 500.00 to start and end up costing over 3,000.00.

I didn't ask if you know about the system....I asked if you knew of problems people have had using it

I didn't mean to be offensive to you. Very sorry. I think they are peddling BS. I wouldn't be surprised to see that kind of efficiency from a H2 system, but HHO is the "gas" they claim to be making which unless they are cooking up radioacitve isotopes, is plain water.

The H2 systems are very exciting to me, but what that site is selling is a lie in my opinion, and fraudulent. I responded in the way I did because their scam angered me. I meant no offense to you or anyone else here. Though I don't particularly appreciate my name being broadcast on the net.

If you would like me to in a more serious tone explain why I think this is a fraud, I would be happy to.

PS I changed that post to be less offensive, though it was meant to be directed at the proprietors of that site. If I was you, I would take that site down to not give them further advertising.

I'm pretty sure there's already a pretty long thread about this on here. Do a search on hydrogen and you'll probably find it. There were like 4 people that ordered units and after following the thread for a couple months, NOBODY replied back with positive results and most didn't even say another word. So, I would be skeptical based on that alone.

HHO is actually different from water as far as I have heard, it has to do with splitting the hydrogens or something, there are a few threads on here about it

H2O is the abbreviation for HHO The 2 refers to two hydrogen atoms, and the O refers to a single oxygen atom. H+H+O =H2O. Here's an example H+H+O+O=H2O2 Common Hyrogen peroxide. Like four people holding hands. The hydrogens' have one hand in their pocket.

Beware! With these high fuel prices, the scam artists will be out! Selling fuel cards and the like.

Waveman-If you have already made a purchase, I urge you to not accept it. The way I understand consumer law (which is not really) the transaction is not complete until you take posession. Contact your state's department of consumer affairs. I am pretty sure this is a scam. If in doubt, seek out someone with some basic chemistry experience to verify this for yourself.

HHO is not water, you start out with water and through electrolysis you break the bonds of the water. Water is two hydrogen atoms ionically bonded with one oxygen atom, HHO is 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom without the bonds holding them together.

I am not trying to defend it and say it works but Im just saying HHO is not H2O. This system is rather inefficient because of the amount of electricity it takes to break the bonds of water.
