I heard that there is an issue with the new 08 Dodge cummins when running bio fuels. Something with the particulate filter. Anyone heard anything about that? I am starting to get some oil sources but want to make sure that I do not run into any issues. The system that I am using filters everything through a 2 micron filter prior to going into the truck. Could use some feed back on this one?

You need to have more complete info , fill in what your truck is in your sig .
It reads like you are not informed on what is what , bio is processed , filtering into tank is running on WVO , not the same .
There are many reasons not to run WVO , more with a newer truck " 08 " , than older .

Waste Vegtable Oil is unprocessed- so yes, more to deal with- thickening, contaniments and so forth. Bio is processed- filtered, washed, and dried. There is a differance. As far as other vehicles i.e.- VW- those guys are doing all sorts of crazy stuff- with WVO and everything else- and having some good results. The actual Bio trend in the US was originally pushed by the VW crowd. Bio is the way to go. But you have to have bio- not almost half or unprossesed waste veggie oil for trucks. I started a post here DODGE VS BIO- what are the real issues, before I started making bio- and I update it. You may find some good info and links there.
