So this setup from HHO is working out fairly well for everyone whos running it? looks like im gonna have to look into maybe purchasing this as well as the scan gauge II. I bet you could save a lot on fuel with the two together.

Ok, I talked to another rep and he said they are piping it right into the intake. So, I did a little research to find out what the "AUTOIGNITION" point iof Hydrogen is and it comes up to 538 C. Which is like 1000 degrees. Also, this is in a 100 percent state, I wouldn't imagine the amount of hydrogen to oxygen or air in the intake would even exceed 5%. So, I am guessing the grid heater does not get that hot to affect the gas. But if the unit is kept on a toggle switch, You can turn it on after the vehicle is running and shut it down a min or so before you shut down the vehicle to ensure the gasses are stagnent in the air stream.. Make sense. I also found out that MagDrive Fuel From H2O - HHO Generators this guy is no longer dealing with the public, you must contact your nearest distributer. He also said he did one on a 7.3 stroker and was getting 20 before and 35 after?? Also, they he said they have no issues with keeping the brick cool anymore and they were geiiting like a 1000 or more miles before having to refill on the stroker. So, I guess I better order one up. I would like to know what ever came about on the other disscussion over a year ago?

I think the discussion a year ago wound up about the same as most discussions over time... everybody forgets to get back on and reply... lol I know there's a distributor in Houston, I emailed him the other day.

I am still wondering who is going to be the first one to try it out and let us know your results.

Dodgerep said he went from 19 to 31... that's pretty significant. At 3.30 per gallon, savings will add up pretty quickly.

OK, I talked to two different distributors. The system does have incredible effects on mpg. The testimonial that everyone may have found on the website has actually been improved from 34 mpg to 37 mpg, and that 37 was before the new super gens came out, so there is a chance that this guy (with a CTD) is going to get right around 40 mpg, reason being is that the new generators are producing more hydrogen then the older gens.

The bad news is that all of the hydrogen systems have trouble introducing the gas in a pressurized system. They have created venturis that can take in the gas up to about 12 psi of boost, but above that and the system does not take in the gas. They are doing some R&D to see if they can get a venturi setup to allow around 18 psi of boost.

This does create a problem, but only for performance. For efficiency I don't think that there will be a problem as most engines are not running more then 12 psi of boost just driving down the road.

My thought is that if there is a problem with injecting the hydrogen when the system is pressurized, then at that point, when it reaches higher pressure, have a system that introduces the gas before the turbo. Only for when it was at high boost, that way you could see the performance benefit of the gas at higher pressures.

Just some thoughts, but I am going to get one for our Kenworth, I am just going to wait to see what they are doing with the setups.

It seems, every one of the distributers knows something that the other doesn't. I have talked to three of them and none of them were on the same page if you know what I mean. But I think most of us just would like this for those long hauls. I can live with it not working above 12psi for boost. I cruise at 7 with no head wind. So, This could work. I am working on getting one, but my MI distributer is waiting on some new upgraded pieces before he can ship me one out. One thing about this unit, I think it can only get better over time with more people using it and upgrading parts here and there.
