hmm... I didn't realize they had turbos that early on! It's still a relatively small engine though. Look at the turbo on that thing... I can see the compressor wheel.. that's not good! lol no air filter? yikes. I know those things didn't have electronic injection though so it's gotta work on mechanical diesels.

ok here is my input. I am no expert, all though my father is. He does proto research with hydrogen powered vehicles. The big 3 have been in bed together developing these for years. Chrysler has several large vehicles, and some sprinters that run totally on hydrogen. It is possible, but like has already been stated. It is not profitable for the big 3 yet. When they find away for it to become profitable you will see them on the road. Also while you are considering this, consider the safety aspects of running hydrogen. Exposed to open flame or heat and it is very unstable. I will talk to my dad about it more, and show him the site see what he has to say.

sounds like a plan! :thumbsup As far as introducing the hydrogen, there's some plugged holes there beside the MAP sensor plug in that go directly into the intake I think. That would be after the grid heaters..

This is proving to be a very interesting thread. The prices aren't too bad on the systems either. Hmm....

it says it's got a 100% money back guarantee. I'd go for it if I wanted to do it. I'm in college though and can't afford it.. lol I don't think I'd wanna turn that thing on till the engine was at operating temp though.

2. Okay, I decided to run it as a Hybrid fuel system, will I get rust or corrosion that way too?.

Not really, the fossil fuel [gas or deisel] produces more than enough heat during combustion that when the HHO burns and converts back to water, the engine temps are high enough to keep it as a vapored steam until it exits the exhaust system. We have units running almost 2 years without any evidence of moisture or corrosion problems.

I think this thing would have to make 10 mpg better or so to be lucrative enough to buy. It would take forever to pay for itself otherwise. From what I was reading on their website, most pickups only got 2-3 more mpg... I could get a new turbo/injectors and make that and have a lot more fun-power at the rear wheels.
