vegetable oil
I just bought a 2007 Dodge 2500 4x4 Diesel cummings 5.9truck. and was woundering if any one knows if you can run stright used waste vegetable oil or used waste motor oil in the tank or do you have to add something to the waste vegtable oil or waste motor oil. Thanks scotty

Are you cleaning it, cutting it, heating it? If you just fill your tank with straight waste oil you will clog your filters, kill your CP3 and ruin your injectors. I run about 20% cleaned and cut veggie oil in my truck.

There are many kits out there to do this, I would search the internet to find what kits everyone likes and which are a complete waste of money. Also what is your access to used veggi oil? Free or are you paying a 1$ per gallon of the used filtered stuff. Good luck in your endevors. Check out veggie stroke conversion

Moved to alter. fuels forum. Personally I would not even think of running WVO in the diesel tank of a common rail. I know some do it but I would not. You can piece together a WVO dual tank system for much less than what a new set of injectors would cost you. I would do that. JMHO.
