Do sensible oil changes with the Valvoline Blue, Chevron Delo, Mobil Delvac etc. and it will go for a looong time... Like My gas engines, I use whatever oil is on sale between Valvoline, Havoline, or Mobil and I have never had any oil related issues whatsoever and I've torn down plenty of engines (gas engines)... With My Diesel I'll use what's on sale as long as it's Mobil Delvac, Valvoline Blue, or Chevron Delo and I don't expect it to ever have an oil related issue...

Valvoline PB is some pretty good stuff. I have ran the conventional and synthetic in my truck and they both ran fine. I prefer the synthetic myself but either is good!

I've been using Valvoline Premium Blue for over 100k miles and its been great. Plus its recommended by Cummins and has Cummins Name on the bottle.
