Radar detectors

Anyone have any radar detectors or know what I should look for when buying one???

any good ones you would recommend?

i got one of them cobra cheapies, works pretty good, make sure it has a radar detector detector if that makes sense lol, to the radio shack new named place they got them there

With radar detectors you get what you pay for, I run an Escort, I have very few false alarms. The cheaper detectors usually go off constantly in the city.

security systems like mine a lot lol, and im pretty sure it picks up sat radios too lol

Check out radartest.com they've got reviews. A poor detector is worse than nothing since you think you're good until it's too late. I've got the Escort 8500 and think it does a good job.

An Escort or a Valentine 1 is the only way to go in my opinion, great units

CB radio works better than any detector I've ever had.
