Hi, fellow Albertans!

Hey everyone.

Great site, neat that there's a AB forum. I found this place while looking for info on Cummins diesels. I bought my first one on the weekend!! An '02 Laramie 4x4 2500 QC/SB 6 speed.

I was really looking for a good local diesel mechanic when I found you guys. Looks like Big Dog Performance comes highly recommended, I'll have to get in touch with them.

Can any of you recommend a great bodyshop? I'd like to get the truck painted in the next year or two.

Anyways, just mainly wanted to say 'Hey'.

I'm guessing that you're from Calgary if you are going to go to Big Dog, I'm from a ranch just west of Okotoks, I use DPS in Calgary and they're very good, DPS is Diesel Preformance Specialists, just my $0.02

Thanks for the welcome, Stax Girl.

hunt2live, yep that's Cowtown. Ooopps, forgot to mention that. I hunt coyotes on a few ranches out your way.

I'll check out DPS as well. Thanks for the recommendation, appreciate it.

I don't mind at all. You are a bit further west than I thought though. We have been hunting more south of Okotoks. Rolands, Heirtwigs, and a few other smaller land owners. Most of the landowners are my friends connections through his church.

I hunt whenever I get the chance, whatever is in season. (I have a 4 yr old and a 5 yr old that take most of my attention and free time though.) We go north for big game, Sundre, Bearberry area. I'm really just getting back into it, after too long away. You could say it's my only escape from the city life that's forced on me, I love it.

I take it you might kind of like hunting and the outdoors as well!

Take care.
