belt minder

first off new to the site, glad to see an alberta section, got an 08 2500 megacab, stock for now. my big problem is the dinging that will not quit from the seat belts, followed the instructions to no prevail, called the dealerships and said I need to get it from the net (US book) and it will not work, can anybody let me know how to disarm this thing..

Don't now if it will work but try unplugging the drivers seat belt sensor, should be down by the seat somewhere. Don't know but just a guess, never been in an 08.

It can no longer be disabled from my understanding, one option may be to get a seat belt extension and plug it in.....word to the wise though, the airbag system will deploy at full force assuming you are in a belt and could injure you more than a light accident!!!!
