Exclamation Were do you get your fuel?

I got fuel at the holiday station on boniface and debar in Anchorage. Within 5 minutes it was running like crap. I juiced it with power service additive and emptied my water trap and now it idle's, but still low on power. Were do the locals get good clean fuel here? I'm new to the area/

I would stick to a Tesoro or Chevron that has high volumes through it. I know Garrets Tesoro has god fuel, off of N. Lights and Arctic I believe.

I believe its northern lights and seward hwy in front of freddys. He use to have one in muldoon but the x got it. I bought diesel from garrets (Arctic & International) for ten years in the 80's, never have had a problem. The best service, one hell of a nice guy.

All the diesel/heating oil in AK is ultra low crap.... its all they make in Ak any more.

I buy most of my fuel from Fred Meyer or Carrs in Eagle River, can't pass up the $10 discount any more. If you want to buy from Holiday use the one at Muldoon and the Glen. They have high flow pumps and the semi's fuel there all the time.

I agree with high flow stations.

Otherwise pour the additives to'er.

I use Husky-diesel Max.
They put in a lubricator and it is great stuff.

I don't add it all the time, maybe once or twice a year.
