ive been searching for any diesel truck clubs in alaska, can someone let me know if there are in one or know of any

There was/is an Alaska TDR chapter, but nobody has gotton together in a couple years.

People are usually busy enjoying the short summer up here, camping, fishing, wheeling, etc. I know I would rather be our doing something like that then BSing about trucks, and I like to BS about trucks. But we only get so many nice days up here we have to get out and enjoy them.
On the flip side the winters are windy and cold and you have to have somewhere indoors to have a meeting/club to BS and work on your rigs.

I wish we could get some sort of diesel club going up here, there are plenty of 4x4 clubs in the area. Would be nice cause I see a bunch of rigs around that look nice and would like to BS with people about their trucks.

That is the truth. Once a month would be kinda nice or something. Cause we dont do squat here. The Suby clubs and off road guys gather all the time and its kinda sad cause I know a few of them I have pulled from pretty bad...

JCrockett hit the nail on the head. The AK TDR guys (AKBombers) have not had a meeting in a long time. I was the guy organizing the meetings most of the time and I just ran out of time to do it any more. I got married and had kids and my garage is full of stuff... If anyone wants to have a meeting I would be all for it. I would say September - October is the best shot for attendance... its just after hunting season and just before snow machines start. I would come if I where in town. We have (I think it still works) a email distribution list. Send a email to AKTDR@Tibor.org and it should go out to all the AK TDR guys. There are a few guys that don't do email, but I can let them know if I get an email about the meeting.

It would be really nice to have a club going again.

There is a small following of Diesel enthusiasts on Alaska 4x4 Network , but no Diesel clubs that I know of. Your more than welcome to register there and post up to see if there is any interest in starting a club.
