Mine is not a dually, but its green and does have a topper.... Did it have a few stickers on the side of the topper? If it did that was me.

Hi guys...I'm in the Palmer area and this last snowfall (and a 17 year old with a lead foot) took out my ride Now I am fighting with Geico to get into a replacement.

Here is a pic of the aftermath -

It was a '99 with only 79k on it. I don't think there is another one in the state with that low of miles!!! Having a rig get "totaled" SUCKS!!

Green Dually

Hey 65Catalina,

If that Green Dually you saw in ER was a 12 valve it was mine. Its got a 5" exhaust, a BHAF, a hot fuel plate in the pump and a lot of trans and converter work. Its my plow truck and camper truck that doesn't get out too much since I usually drive my 04 common rail most of the time.
Is your truck the one I see at ER High every day? I drive one of the big yellow bananas with Cat engines.

hey AK Mud that sucks! Did you buy it back from insurance? You could always upgrade to a 3rd gen. You interested in selling the truck since it is totaled? I am in the Palmer/Wasilla area as well.

If he does not buy it back it will be at the MTR Auto Auction in a couple of months... Geico uses them to sell totals. I just watched a 04 that ended up selling for $12K.. a bit too high for my taste.

Jason - did you ever go look at that craigslist rollover last month - I never made it.

AK Mud - sorry for your loss, get your insurance money and start over

I don't think you guys want to touch my rig unless you want to part it out. Halls Auto Body said it needs a NEW frame. The estimate was up to $13,750 at last count and he wasn't done. I've got the insurance offer up to $17,000 now, but I still can't find a similar truck for that price. Insurance companies suck
