Hey Everyone, I Have Been Out Of Pocket For The Last 2 Weeks. I See We Have A Chapter Name. Very Good. Has Anyone Got Us A Decal To Put On Our Trucks? What I'm Starting This Thread About Is: Does Anyone Have The 19.5 Rims & Tires On Their Truck? Some Fords Came With These. I Would Like Any And All Info I Can Get On Them. I Like The Idea Of Commercial Grade Tires. They Last Much Longer And Are Much More Durable Than What Comes Stock On Our Trucks.
you are right on the lasting longer part and more durable part, but they ride like an old wagon!! they look good too, but i would go with the 22.5" or 24" alcoa's
I Agree With The Ugly But With Stainless Dishes They Won't Be Too Bad. I See A Set Of Hub Adapters For The 17" With 8 Lugs To The 19.5" With The 10 Lug Rims. Does Some One Not Make The 19.5 Rims With The 8 Lug Bolt Pattern? That Set Of Adapters Is $975.00 . Kinda Spendy Time You Add Rims And Tires.
American force, MKW, Alcoa, Eagle Alloy, DRIV, all make 8 lug 19.5" wheels. You can control ride quality with these bigger wheels by your tire pressure. The 22.5" wheels do not come in an 8 lug, and you will have difficulty pulling a 5th wheel if its a 4x4...smallest size tire for a 22.5= 36" tire. I too am looking into 19.5" wheels, but its looking like a very expensive venture. The cheaper Eagle Alloys are a polished aluminum, which will have to be re-polished often.
There is a burgundy ford that used to be around rainbow city with the 22.5s I think. They looked really good. Not too big or small. Brad did you finally get that single stack? I think they are pretty expensive though.
