My First Was An 89. Only Had It For A Year. It Just Made Me Want A Newer One. I Bought A New '97 Cab Chassis And Had A Flatbed On It. It Was My Favorite. All I Did To It Was Put A Cam Plate In It. And Put New 5th Gear Lock Nuts In It Regularly. My Latest Is An '04 4door With An Automatic. I Hotshotted With It. It Had An Older Edge Chip ( And A Hotone Too). Good Enough To Take The Transmission Out Three Times. I Quit Hotshotting And Had Ptc In Muscle Shoals Build A Super Tranny For Me. I Am Real Happy With It. I Plan On Pulling A 5th Wheel Camper With It Now. By The Way, I Worked Out Of Outlaw Trucking In Cullman. They Are Real Dodge Diesel Enthusiests. We Need To Get Them Involved. Dale
DieselDale, you can be the oldest if you want to, I commute between Snellville, GA and Gurley, AL, Have a house in each place, and I am 63. Retired from US Army in 1992, my wife is from Gurley, and my girlfriend is from Snellville, Guess I should make up my mind. I currently have 3 and 1/2 Dodges. A 94 CTD with tranny problems. A 98 12V with oil leak problem, a 2005 Dakota with no balls, and a 1999 GMC 3500 HD with 454 Gas. I just picked up a 2005 CTD 5.9 out of a GMC Topkick, with the plan to install it in the GMC. It has a Holset VGT turbo on it and I am looking for a PCM to hook it all together. I also have a NV4500 to replace the 4L80E in the GMC, along with a Gear Vendor Over/Under Drive. It is going to be fun, and I think I will do the (conversion) build in Gurley. The GMC has a stretched frame with a 11ft bed, and I currently use it to haul my 5th wheeler, or my travel trailer, or my 21 foot boat.

20 Ways to Know if You're a True Alabamian...

1. You can properly pronounce Conecuh, Cahaba, Opelika, Sylacauga, Oneonta, and Eufaula.

2. You think people who complain about the heat in their states are sissies.

3. A tornado warning siren is your signal to go out in the yard and look for a funnel.

4. You know that the true value of a parking space is not determined by the distance to the door, but by the availability of shade.

5. Stores don't have bags or shopping carts, they have sacks and
buggies.

6. You've seen people wear bib overalls at funerals.

7. You think everyone from a bigger city has an accent.

8. You measure distance in minutes.

9. You go to the lake because you think it is like going to the ocean.

10. You listen to the weather forecast before picking out an outfit.

11. You know cowpies are not made of beef.

12. Someone you know has used a football schedule to plan their
wedding date.

13. You have known someone who has a belt buckle bigger than your fist.

14. You aren't surprised to find movie rental, ammunition, beer, and bait all in the same store.

15. A Mercedes Benz isn't a status symbol. A Chevy Silverado Extended Bed Crew Cab is.

16. You know everything goes better with Ranch Dressing.

17. You learned how to shoot a gun before you learned how to multiply.

18. You actually get these jokes and are "fixin' " to send them to
your friends.

19. You have used your heater and air-conditioner in the same day!

Finally:
You are 100% Alabamian if you have ever had this conversation:

20. "You wanna coke?" "Yeah." "What kind?" "Dr Pepper."

Trussville Here

Good to see there are so many of us. I have all equip to build fairly high volume bio setup. All I need is some reliable WVO sources. I would be interested in us putting together a co-op where we could all benefit from a cheap fuel source. PM me if any interest......
