It seems by the lack of posts that no one in Alabama is getting together and doing anything. I contribute to the "dirty" south every day by driving a soot slinger! Anyone else out there that does the same chime in.

we all go to the track every friday night or saturday night. Bama dragway,Moulton dragway, or Steele. there are about 5 to 10 diesels there most nights.
Ok, I ran at Steele last Friday. If I had a clutch that would stick I would be running pretty good. Fastest time was a 16.3 @ 88mph. 4th grabbed about 50 %

we went to moulton last night. it is an 1/8 mile track 20 miles north west of cullman. our best pass was a 6.41@115mph. we out testing something for the big race in N.C. next weekend. we will be back in town next week. we will be going to steele the friday after next to do some 1/4 mile testing. i know there should be 11 sec 2wd dodge and a 12 sec dodge there too.
A true get-together would be nice and I would host it at my house if interested. We have tried it at the track with no success. If anybody has an idea lets hear it.
Hey folks.......I just joined the forum.....I'm near Gadsden and have a 04 3500 with the Cummins in it. For my larger carbon footprint I have a 5 ton military wrecker (M816) with the naturally aspirated 250 Cummins in it.
It is an awesome truck but needs a 400 transplant.
I also have a collection of other military vehicles, mostly 2 1/2 tons, that have the in- line 6 cylinder, turbo-charged, multi-fuel engines. I run them on alternate fuels to include veggie oil, used motor oil and other stuff I can scrounge.
My place is located 8 miles from Noccalula Falls....I hope to host a military vehicle rally in the near future but all diesel heads would be welcome.

You must be less than a rock throw away....we are at 588Saddle Club Road.
Drop by and see the collection of military vehicles.....I am having transmission probs with the Dodge and I need to do some upgrades on it since I am now pulling heavy loads.
I prob need all the help I can get with the new technology...deuces are easy...duct tape, baling wire, cresent wrench and a few other hand tools and you are good to go.
