Exclamation Help on picking a Kenwood Head Unit

I had my truck broke into and they jacked up my Kenwood 8120 head unit. I really like the Garmin feature so I am going to stick with Kenwood but I am going to go with something newer, most likely a Ebay special.
My first question is....is there a difference other then price of the Excelon and regular units. I know they say it their premier line but is there a difference?
My main want is GPS, DVD, Rear Camera. Anyone have any tips or experiences to share. Thanks

Excelon units give you more options for shaping the sound but unless youre doing sound competitions it's unnecessary, I just put a ddx719 in my truck which is a non excelon ken wood unit and it still has almost as many sound shapin features.

I have an Excelon unit and I am disappointed in its ability to shape sound. There just isn't that much control. The 3 band parametric EQ just doesn't cut it for me. The other knock I give this unit, which is applicable to all Kenwoods, is that there is no lifetime update option for the Garmin nav. That's my only 2 issues with it. Other than that the unit meets or exceeds my expectations.
