I agree with you Matt that a smooth operator can run a stick without shocking the drivetrain. I have the 6 speed with my 01 and for towing I wouldnt have it any other way, I want control of shift points and rpm at all times .........now with my wifes 04.5 she has the 48RE auto and for what we use that truck for it is perfect and I wouldnt want a stick in there.
We have the best of both worlds here :jump:
