no speedo...abs/brake light on!

speedo doesnt work and both abs and brake dash lights are on...put a new speed sensor on the rear end, nothing...any suggestions? maybe the abs module thats mounted under the hood? any ideas? thanks

The sensor on the rear end is not the speedometer sensor. It is an ABS sensor. The Speed sensor is on the side of the transfer case towards the rear. I would look at the wires/plug first. I would take a look at your brake fluid just in case it is a coincidence. Better safe than sorry, though it is most likely from a bad speedometer circuit.

check the wire that runs along the differential. found one before that had been hit hard with a rock and busted the wire inside the conduit. good luck

alright thanks for the info guys...ill take a look at it tomorrow...i checked the brake fluid not to long ago and i know it has enough...what do you mean by checking it?
