In the middle of changing my injector pump, we realize we don't have any way to pull the pump gear. While calling AZ, a friend of mine ran outside, and came back in holding the rear tow hook we pulled from the engine. Turns out with a little bit of grinding, two sockets, and the two shortest air horn bolts he Rednecked a gear puller and helped save the day. Check this out. ![]() Grind the holes about a 16th of an inch inboard, and it fits. ![]() P.S. This is the friend, hope this helps someone out. I wasn't sure it'd work, but if it helps us get this truck finished today it'll be worth being called a redneck for the rest of the week. |
