Unhappy APP sensor

Well I hate to say it but I had to relpace my APP sensor today. The dang thing was over $500 dollars. I guess I enough when i went to pick it up that Jacob at Dodge gave me a Cummins Hat. I guess the injectors will have to wait. Oh well, any one else had any problems with their APPS?

APP Sensor

What was it doing before it went bad? I'm trying to figure if that's what's wrong with mine.

APPS - Accelerator pedal position sensor

Toohoarse - The truck will surge at a certain RPM. Usually around the 50 mph mark. Its like it is hunting for a gear. What is your truck doing?

Just having a little fun with you Michael. You have a very useful site. I have used it and sent others there as well.

I want to know what is acting up on Toohoarse's truck to see why he thinks his APPS is bad.

Give you a little secret for dead pedal.

When a APPS fails it ALWAYS throws a error code P0121 or P122.

But when a VP44 going out it might throw codes and it might not...

That's how to tell them apart...
