Your truck may already have a two piece driveshaft. Usually the longbed 2500's and 3500's have them. It will be a male-female spline joint about halfway down the driveshaft. This allows for the rear suspension to move up and down. (driveshaft gets shorter and longer)

Even as there are probably very few people who'd want to do this conversion, it would certainly be sad to loose such an informative thread just because some cant follow the rules.

We do not make these adaptors. I offer a free set of drawings to anyone that contacts us.
