can it be made louder?

My truck is already straight piped and the silencer ring is removed, is there anything I can do to make it louder?

Will a 5" really make that much of a difference over a 4"?

Not really just a different tone but why do you want it louder? They are loud enough. Mine is louder than both of my friends trucks and one has a 7.3 f word and the other has a 6.6 duramax. Both are 4" straight piped

Smaller exhaust will be louder, bigger will be deeper sounding.

Stacks lower than the cab will be good and loud for ya.

If you want louder then u gota go to a 3 or 3 1/2 but the high pitch popping noise coming out when u get on is gona sound like and probably going to drive you crazy. You must be 17 yrs. Old or something
